Children and Ugly Scenery!? Oh My!

Soooo, meet my daughter!

Her name is Sapphire. Now some of you must be all, "Whut, who be da father?"

Yeah, this guy playing a game outside in his undies is the father. Oh well, at least he's nice to look at. I must admit though, I did not fully create this hunky simmie. This simmie belongs to a great blog called Ariz, Larz and Cholez Sims 3 Blog. Their Sims are beautiful and very unique. I've downloaded like five sims of theirs already.

Back to my family pictures.

I have learned how to properly match my clothes during pregnancy, and that shoes are the devil. Our house is cluttered with hundreds of those little gems you see there. My hubby is trying to create a simbot, but he just can't find the heart shaped pink diamond. That's what happens when one chooses to be an inventor.  As for me, I have a REAL job as an architect, I'm fabulous at it, it's just that my clients are too much of a llama to see it.

Isn't this town beautiful? No, it's not. It's scummy and feels dirty. I'm worried my little Sapphire will grow into a gang member.

During my latest pregnancy I had a lot of free time. I decided to continue my dabbling into sculpting. So here's a lovely Ice Sculpture of Sapphire. I believe I caught her good (My) qualities.

"Hmm, I should be due any second now. Pft, I'll be able to finish this sculpture by then."

"HOLY BOLOGNA. That hurt. Must. Finish. Sculpture..."

Eventually I became tired of hearing my hubby telling me to go to the hospital, so I changed into some nicer clothes and headed on my way.

Welcome to the family, baby Noah.

My Sim Has Ptosis!

Poor, poor Tegan was diagnosed with ptosis today.

The poor thing. What ptosis is.

In other news I have finished the banner for my story. Things are getting more official.

One last note: Happy birthday to Furyred, my sister, my aunt, and Spychip's sister. Have a good one guys!

Washed Out

Thank you Abby for the banner idea. (Though I have a feeling yours would look way cooler) I have once again changed my blog layout. This time it will stay. I'm quite happy with it. Only thing I'll probably ever change is the banner. I've learned that I hate Pixlr, I'm too used to Photoshop to use it.

I don't have much to give. I'm back from my vay-cay to the beach. It was super awesome. I am not as pastey white now. Apparently people didn't notice how the picture was washed out in Photoshop. I'm not THAT white. I mean, I'm a white, white girl, but not paper white. It's a really nice effect to do. I'll teach it to you real quick.

1. Duplicate layer
2. Desaturate image
3. Guassian Blur the image a wee bit. (The more blurred the more washed)
4. Set the layer to soft light.
5. Play with the opacity to your likeness.

Ta-da! All prettyfulls yes? It's nice for doing something quick. I believe it'll also make your images more glowey too.

Oh dear, look at all of those words with no pictures. I guess I'll have to show you what I've been working on.

The title so far: Paper Bag
What is it going to be about? You'll find out eventually.

Here she is un-angry. Isn't she just Gorge? <3

Bumblebee Tuna

I'm going to the beach. Oh yesh, the beach. I'm going to be eating Joe's Crab Shack and getting my skin burned. I should be packing right now, but I'm spending time online. :]

Anyway, I'm going to be gone at the beach from Sunday to Wednesday. I've told some people but I figured I would make a post in case people went crazy and started to miss me (Pft like that would happen.) I will come back with nice stuff, hopefully, since I have a new simself I'm going to make myself a new banner and change the blog layout again. I'm thinking a lovely mauve would look fantgasmic. I'mnot sure what my color scheme will be though. I might just keep it green, but I dunno. Suggest me colors!

To make this post extra fun here is some pictures! Yay pictures! First I'm going to show off my entry for a Fairy Tale contest:

Sleeping beauty. Look at that cute prince butt. That's the only new Sims related picture I have so here is some artwork I've done.

That's the piece I entered in my college art show. The frame has a glass background and the silver bit that looks like a crack is the wire they made me put on it so they could hang it, even though they didn't hang it up.

A pastel picture of my infamous flower headed girls. They are my favorite to draw.

A breast cancer design I made for my mom's work to put up.

A picture I put together after the Obama Rally in Virginia.

I have a tooon more, but  don't want to spam my blog too much away from the Sims. I know I'm not much of a draw-er, but I do what I can.

A Whole New Self!

Okay, so the last time I made a simself, she turned out kinda funky looking. Her eyes were huge and she was just not right. So, I finally got off my arse and made a new one.

I also changed her clothing, her hair (I did cut my hair after all), and even her eyes are new.

See? She/I looks SO much better.

Traits: Absent-minded, Inappropriate, Photographer's Eye, Artistic,  and Clumsy

For a comparison here is what I looks like. It was only going to be so long before my face be exposed, not really, but here's a picture of me anywayz, even though it be old.

Call me pretty, ugly, or fugly, I don't care. If you want to make a simself of me go for it. I know a lot of you have a ton of talent in this field. I just used the pics from my Facebook page.

Is This A Bandwagon Yet?

So guess who received her copy of Ambitions today? Amiee did. :]

So, I wasn't sure what to expect since I didn't really look into it. I must say, I am very impressed with the expansion pack.

For one, the game actually works unlike World Adventures. The game looks way more sleeker and more organized. Plus you can do sooo much more stuff. Who doesn't want to do Laundry? I'm also loving the new traits.

Okay, so here is the best part. I took some screen shots to make the rest of you jealous. It's nothing really different than the ones already out, but I don't want them to go to waste. So let's meet my guinea pig, Chelsey Leaf.

Aww, isn't she cute? I gave her the new Eco-friendly trait among some other earth-loving traits as well.

First thing on her list to learn was sculpting. Look at how awesome that clay pedestal looks. While she was learning, I made her significant other a smexy fireman.

Oh my! I also learned that apparently saying, "I'm a fireman" is a pick-up line. I think I'll try it out next week on foxy peeps.

What kind of pose is that? Oh well, the sculpture luckily didn't turn out to have that silly pose and it never melts, yay.

So everything is awesome with my game, no bugs yet. Then again, I only have CC and the only mod I have is the non-default skin tone mod.
